AI Checkout readiness depends on product feed quality, a working test payment path, webhook delivery, and conformance checks. These four areas show up across the wizard and are the most common reason a conformance run fails.

Product feed

Open AI Checkout > Product Feed Manager. Each product shows a quality score that reflects whether the title, description, images, price, and stock status are complete enough for ChatGPT to display.

• Use the checkboxes to select products, choose Enable for ChatGPT from the bulk action dropdown, and apply.
• The feed regenerates automatically when you enable or disable products. ChatGPT typically picks up changes within about 15 minutes.
• Click Regenerate Feed to force an immediate update.
• Use Recalculate Quality Scores after large catalog edits to refresh the per-product scores.

Address products flagged with low quality scores first. They usually need a clearer image, a longer description, or accurate stock status.

Stripe test mode

Use Stripe test mode while validating checkout behavior. Test mode lets the wizard run conformance checks against a real payment flow without charging customers. Switch to live keys only after OpenAI approves your merchant application.

Webhooks

Configure the ACP webhook URL exposed by the plugin and keep the webhook secret private. Check the AI Checkout logs when webhook delivery fails or when a test transaction does not update WooCommerce as expected. Common causes are security plugins, cache layers, or firewall rules blocking incoming webhook traffic.

Conformance checks

Run conformance checks after the product feed, test payment, webhook, and crawler access settings are in place. Use the Run All Tests button on the Conformance wizard step to verify session creation, payment processing, order completion, and webhook delivery. Treat any failure as a setup issue to resolve before submission.
