Use this guide when uploads fail, files do not appear on orders, or customers see unexpected validation messages.

Upload fails

Check the product file size limit, PHP upload limits, server request limits, and whether the file extension is allowed for the product.

Invalid file type

Review the selected file groups and any custom override extensions. If using custom extensions, make sure the extension is entered consistently and tested with a real file.

Missing order files

Confirm the product required uploads before add to cart, the customer completed the upload before checkout, and cleanup settings did not remove temporary files too early.

Blocks limitation

Image preview summaries are not available in cart and checkout blocks. Use order details or email summaries if previews are required after checkout.
